Lena Horne with cadets at the Tuskegee Airbase in Tuskegee, Alabama in 1945.

I did go to the near-mandatory viewing of Red Tails this weekend.
My thoughts:
1. It was a war movie.
2. It had lots of catchphrases.
3. I love WWII aviator outfits. I am currently wearing a bronze bomber jacket and gold-rimmed RayBan aviators—I was that inspired.
4. I predicted the ending perfectly.
5. It was long.
You should absolutely buy a ticket and support the movie.
P.S. You should support anything that has Cuba Gooding, Jr. playing a SUBTLE role. Maybe he will take a hint.
